Calling all compassionate souls with a knack for supporting others! Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of senior athletes? Join us as a volunteer lap counter or check-in assistant for our power and race walking events! As a lap counter, you'll be the heartbeat of encouragement, cheering on seasoned and beginning walkers as they push boundaries and defy odds. As a check-in assistant, you will greet athletes and insure they have their timing bibs and general race information. Your role isn't just about tallying laps; it's about fostering camaraderie, providing motivation, and being a beacon of support for our remarkable senior athletes. This position is an outdoor position so bring sunscreen and a hat. This position does require light lifting and you may be requested to help in varying capacities.
On October 10 and 11, the events will be held at Dixie High School. On October 12 for the 5000M races, we will begin behind the Dixie Convention Center |
