Safeguarding Policy Habitat for Humanity is committed to supporting a respectful and ethical workplace, safeguarding the rights of those we serve, and properly stewarding our donors’ funds and resources. This 10-minute video explains the meaning of "safeguarding" and what our commitment to safeguarding means for volunteers as Habitat representatives.
Attendance/Cancellations To ensure that Pikes Peak Habitat has enough impactful and timely tasks and volunteer shifts available for all those desiring to serve, and that time is respected for all Pikes Peak Habitat volunteers and staff, Pikes Peak Habitat has an attendance policy. If a volunteer registers online, they must attend the entirety of their scheduled shift. If you must cancel, please do so online or through one of the event organizers (volunteer coordinators). If a volunteer has three no call/no shows, the rest of their registrations will be canceled, and their volunteer profile will be frozen.
