Canton Pickle Fest

Canton Pickle Fest is looking for friendly faces to help ensure our event runs smoothly and all our guests have a great time. Join us as we create a fun and vibrant atmosphere locals and visitors will want to come back to year after year. Part of the proceeds from Canton Pickle Fest will go to Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. 

Volunteers will receive a lanyard and an official Canton Pickle Fest T-shirt and will also be provided drinks and snacks.

We have a variety of positions available. All volunteers must be prepared to be a friendly contact point and answer simple questions about the festival. Some may be helping guests by giving them or showing them a map, answering questions about special promotions throughout the day, such as the Pickle Passport, Scavenger Hunt, and Judges Passes, verify qualifications for and hand out prizes, help with questions about raffle tickets, help keep the festival grounds tidy, help vendors with simple set up or tare down tasks, use a point of sales, help with retail of official merchandise, or ask guests and vendors to participate in a small survey, during or after the event. Most volunteer positions will be standing majority of the day but can take small sitting breaks throughout the day when they are not busy or need to do so. Shifts are split between 10a-2:30p and 2p-6:30p. Please indicate your shift preference or if you can work 8 hrs, also please provide your shirt size and any special requests of assignment locations, between Official Booth, Pickle Judges Booth, Stroller-Surveys, Stroller-Cleaning Crew. We will try to provide an assignment based on your requests. If you have any special needs, please indicate that as well.
