Description:

Volunteers would assist in screening height, weight, body mass index, bone density, and blood pressure. Additionally, volunteers would educate the population about nutrition, exercise, sun safety, and bone health. Population served: Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

 

Volunteers needed: general volunteers, medical volunteers, MPH students, dietetic students, dietitians, public health professionals, and public health students. 

 

A t-shirt and lunch will be provided.

 

Please note that the volunteers will be required to stay the entire time. Please make arrangements accordingly.
