Description:

Background to project and project objectives: Wild Strathfillan is a project within the National Park that is aimed at improving the habitat within the north of the National Park.  Part of this project involves creating a tree nursery from seeds from the local area.  The West Loch Lomond Team is focusing on Glen Falloch and improving the habitat within this large area.

 

What would you like the volunteers to do? Work around the tree nursery

 

Activity Level: Light – strenuous (if moving trays is required)

 

Protective Equipment required: Gloves, boots or wellies, suncream and smidge!

 

Volunteers to bring: Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, lunch, plenty of water.

 

Specific knowledge or training required: None, training will be provided on the day

 

Other requirements: A second driver.  If anyone is happy to drive a park vehicle, could they please let me know?  If a volunteer has tested positive for covid then please contact the project leader and withdraw from the project.
