Description:
Background to project and project objectives: Part of the ongoing Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) work throughout the National Park. The aim is to clear Himalayan Balsam from an area of the foreshore at Balmaha bay and other places close to Balmaha.
What would you like the volunteers to do? To hand pull the plant from areas cleared in previous years and new areas. The plants will be hung upside down to dry in situ.

Protective Equipment required: Gloves Volunteers to bring: food and drink, waterproof gear and suitable footwear (it will be boggy in places) Specific knowledge or training required: N/A
