Chum Salmon & Cider Celebration 2019

Event Description:

Join us at the McLane Creek Nature Trail on Sunday, Nov. 10th. Enjoy hot cider and snacks while learning from trained Salmon Stewards about the wild run of chum salmon that are spawning in the creek.

NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED...simply show up between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the celebration

Salmon Stewards will be on hand, rain or shine, to answer your questions about these amazing fish who travel so far to come back and spawn in McLane Creek.

Hands-on family-friendly activities will be available in the covered shelter, weather permitting.

Please note, the McLane Creek Nature Trail is managed by WA State Dept. of Natural Resources.  A Discover Pass is required to park at the nature trail.  For more information on where to purchase a one day or annual pass, please go to: http://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/
