About Houston Habitat for Humanity: Houston Habitat for Humanity empowers people to build a better future for themselves and their families by completing financial and home maintenance training, building homes alongside volunteers, and by purchasing their homes with an affordable mortgage. With this hand-up, they achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance. The Settegast Community Garden was created in 2019 and is proud to provide the Settegast neighborhood with fresh fruits and vegetable options. Houston Habitat’s goal is to build a sustainable community garden that will grow and reflect the needs of the Settegast Community. |
