You may be asked to perform any of the following tasks (with instruction):

1. 
   

   Lighting Department Cleanup

1. 
   

   Dust all lighting fixtures and shades

2. 
   

   Ensure all products have barcodes

3. 
   

   Identify pieces with Miscellaneous tags that would benefit from an online feature

4. 
   

   Group pieces together that match stylistically

   Furniture Department Cleanup

1. 
   

   Dust all pieces

2. 
   

   Ensure all products have barcodes

3. 
   

   Identify pieces with a Miscellaneous tag that would benefit from an online feature

4. 
   

   Remerchandise for a more attractive display

3. 
   

   Walkway cleanup

1. 
   

   Use magnet sweeper to collect errant nails and screws

2. 
   

   Collect scrap metal from throughout the store, placing items in scrap bin

3. 
   

   Return all ladders, carts, and skates to storage area

4. 
   

   Hardware Cleanup

1. 
   

   Ensure that hardware bins contain the items labeled, replacing any errant items

2. 
   

   Dust shelves, cans of paint, and other containers

5. 
   

   Doors

1. 
   

   Inspect door aisles for unevenly placed doors or product in walkways

2. 
   

   Place all doors in racks

3. 
   

   Using green tape, mark any unmarked door with dimensions

6. 
   

   Appliances

1. 
   

   Dust all appliances

2. 
   

   Ensure all products have individual barcodes

7. 
   

   Windows

1. 
   

   Inspect vintage window sashes for damaged pieces, placing those in dumpster
