Gift Shop Sales Support

The Packard Proving Grounds Gift shop is open for many upcoming events and we are in need of attendants to run the gift shop.  Already trained volunteers can register for the "Attendant" opportunities listed.   

 

For New Volunteers we are offering Shadow Opportunities.  

Shadow opportunities are a valuable way to train new volunteers on the gift shop.  During a shadow opportunity, volunteers can observe and learn from experienced staff members as they work in the gift shop. This hands-on training allows volunteers to gain a deeper understanding of the operations and processes involved in running the gift shop, as well as learn about the products and merchandise available for sale. 

 

Volunteer duties will include: 

• Greeting customers as they enter the gift shop and providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
• Assisting customers with finding and purchasing items in the gift shop, including providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have
• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking merchandise, arranging displays, and tidying up the shop as needed
• Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors to the Packard Proving Grounds gift shop.
