Description:

Join Lynn Rivera (CTT/CLC Volunteer) and the Katawba Valley Land Trust Stewardship group for a morning of preserve restoration by removing invasive plants including autumn olive and privet. Volunteers must be 13 years of age to participate and be accompanied by an adult if under 18. Each workday is limited to 12 volunteers. 

 

When: First Second Tuesday of the month- 12/12, 1/9, 2/13, 3/12, 4/9, 5/14 

 

Where: Lindsay Pettus Greenway- 459 Colonial Ave, Lancaster, SC

 

What: Invasive species removal 

 

What to bring/wear: Closed toed shoes, long pants, water bottle and a day pack to hold personal belongings  

 

What will be provided: Project direction and tools
