Description:

SMUD Residential Assistance Outreach is hosting a community resource expo for our hard to reach and under resourced customers to highlight our residential discount programs, services, and 2030 Vision, also to connect these customers directly with social service partners and vital resources. There will be about 30 partner organizations along with SMUD that will showcase their services and have direct sign ups to serve customers in need. It will be hosted at CSC Rubicon and Lobby.

 

SMUD Cares Volunteers will help:


  • Greet Vendors and help them bring in materials from loading zone to find and set up their tables inside
  • Set up bags and registration table for attendees
  • Greet and check in/Register attendees at the front upon entrance, give them each bags with passport/raffle/pre/post evaluation info

Volunteers should have some customer service experience and enjoy working with the public, also seeking volunteers with bilingual skills.
