The Healthy Foods Express Markets offer fresh fruits and vegetables as well as low-sugar and low-sodium items for our community members. Currently these HFE Markets are taking place throughout New Mexico, with sites in:

  • Cuba (1st Thursday of the month)
    • Cuba Health Center, 6349 US Hwy 550
  • Isleta Pueblo (1st Friday of the month)
    • Chical Reception Hall, 191 Tribal Rd 2, Isleta Village Proper, NM 87022
  • Torreon (2nd Wednesday of the month)
    • Navajo Nation Torreon Chapter House, Hwy 197, Ste 26
  • Jemez Pueblo (4th Thursday of the month)
    • Jemez Senior Citizen Center, 110 Sheep Springs Circle
  • Albuquerque (2nd Friday of the month)
    • International District Library, 7601 Central Ave NE
  • Albuquerque (3rd Wednesday of the month)
    • El Centro Senior Housing, 2210 Centro Familiar Blvd SW
  • Albuquerque (4th Friday of the month)
    • South Valley Library, 3904 Isleta Blvd SW

Mobile Market tasks may include assisting community members while ‘shopping’ for items, transporting and loading items to the client’s vehicle, and restocking items as needed. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and we encourage you to bring water bottles and dress for the weather, you may be volunteering both inside and outdoors.
