Description:

Project 29:11 currently serves 250 clients per week. They hosts a drive-thru distribution every Friday from 1 pm - 3 pm (or until food runs out). 

 

Volunteer Duties:

Mondays and Tuesdays are food delivery days, and Project 29:11 needs volunteers to help receive, unload, inventory, and stock food products for the following week's distribution.  

 

Fridays: Volunteers are needed to help load food boxes into vehicles as they drive by. 

 

Requirements & Skills: 

  • Must be 18 years or older 
  • Must wear mask
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
  • Be able to lift up to 30 lbs 
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Does not accept court-referred volunteers.

Dress Code:

  • Due to safety concerns, all volunteers must wear close-toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops) 
  • Dress in comfortable clothing, such as t-shirts, jeans, and tennis shoes. 

Supervision: 

  • On-site Volunteer Coordinator will work directly with all volunteers.

COVID-19 Response

  • Project 29:11 is implementing social distancing, and providing masks and gloves to their volunteers.
