Description:

Immanuel Presbyterian Church - Currently, more than 2,500 families come through Immanuel's doors every week to get life sustaining food and supplies from their pantry. 

 

What You'll be Doing: Greeting clients, packing food bags, and giving out food to clients. Please note: This is a client-choice pantry where clients pick their own food and volunteers place the food inside the clients' bags as they walk by. 

 

Requirements & Skills: 

  • Must be 18 years or older 
  • Face masks required
  • Be able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Does not accept court-referred volunteers.

Dress Code:

  • Due to safety concerns, all volunteers must wear close-toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops) 
  • Dress in comfortable clothing, such as t-shirts, jeans, and tennis shoes. 
  • Bring a jacket/sweater with you as indoor temperature can get low. 

Supervision: 

  • On-site Volunteer Coordinator will work directly with all volunteers.

COVID-19 Response

  • Immanuel Presbyterian Church is implementing social distancing, and providing gloves and access to hand sanitizers to all their volunteers.
