Help distribute food with africActive (Agency Site)

africActive is a non profit organization providing food and essentials to more than 200 families and individuals every Saturday from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. With music and comradery, we love our community! 

 

Volunteers are needed to help with any of the following - set-up/take-down site, unload truck, box bag groceries, and help distribute food and essentials to the community.  

 

Requirements & Skills: 

• Must be 18 or older.
• Be able to lift up at least 20 lbs. 
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• No court-ordered volunteers

Dress Code:

• Due to safety concerns, all volunteers must wear close-toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops) 
• Dress in weather appropriate clothing 

Parking:

• Onsite parking available

Supervision: 

• On-site Volunteer Coordinator will work directly with all volunteers.
