Help prepare, bag & distribute food at ACCC - (Agency Site)

Aaron Community Cultural Center (ACCC)’s mission is to provide education, social skills, employment training, and family system programs. They currently serve 120 clients at their site.

 

Volunteer Duties:

 

Mondays and Tuesdays: Duties vary based on need, but will generally include bagging dry goods, stocking shelves and distributing food to clients. 

 

Fridays: are their food delivery days, and they need volunteers to help receive, unload, inventory, and stock food products for the following week's distribution.  

 

Requirements & Skills: 

• Must be 18 years or older 
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs 
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Does not accept court-referred volunteers

Parking:

• Only Residential Parking Available

Dress Code:

• Due to safety concerns, all volunteers must wear close-toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops) 
• Dress in weather appropriate clothing 

Supervision: 

• On-site Volunteer Coordinator will work directly with all volunteers.

COVID-19 Response: 

•  ACCC is implementing social distancing, and providing masks and gloves to all their volunteers.
