Sunday BINGO and other Games

Come play BINGO with our patients on Sunday afternoons!  We need assistance with calling numbers, helping those who need an extra hand and bringing patients to/from the dining room.

 

We are seeking regular volunteers to assist with Games in each of our units. 

 

Bingo will run from 1-3:30ish p.m.  and 2 - 4ish. Event time includes set up and clean up; times are approximate based on how many patients are participating each week.

 

Please note the following:

• Volunteers will train with experienced Volunteer for two weeks in our CVA unit.
• Masks and other PPE must be worn in accordance with UMMS policy.
• Group size will be limited based on UMMS policy
• No food or drink will be consumed during the activity.
• Volunteers must always ask nursing staff before giving patient food, drinks (including water), or objects.
• Volunteers may not transfer patients but may assist with pushing manual wheelchairs.
• Volunteers will ensure with staff that patient is able to participate.
• Volunteers will ensure good hand hygiene is practiced by all staff, patients and visitors. 
• Volunteers will clean game supplies and tables after use.
