Participate in the "Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk," sponsored by the Down Syndrome Network of Montgomery County.The event is a fundraiser for Down Syndrome research and social activities for those in the Montgomery County Down Syndrome community.
MC-CERT will staff a First Aid table at the event. We will also have CERT 700 present for tours and will answer questions about MC-CERT. We expect to be working alongside at least one apparatus from Glen Echo VFD.
Parking is limited at the venue. At the request of the sponsor, we strongly encourage our members to park at CSB (600 East Gude Drive) and Ride to and from the event on CERT 700. Those who are able to do so should meet at CSB by 0930. |
