Description: This is our first time to open an opportunity to our volunteers to sign up for a shift which could have you working in many different areas. You might work on boxes, sorting, Backpack assembly, office work, garden etc. Each task will always benefit the workings of the Food Bank. Volunteers may check in at the Volunteer Services Office inside the Barbee Warehouse. This space is meant for your use during your visit to our facility. Restroom, Relax space, Refreshment and information regarding upcoming volunteer events are available. Please dress comfortably with closed toed shoes and clothes you would not mind getting dirty while you work. This is a HOT warehouse in the summer so dress appropriately, NO Short shorts or Revealing clothing, you must have enclosed shoes, and we HIGHLY SUGGEST A MASK. If you do not own a mask, we will provide you with a disposable mask, also we have gloves, hand sanitizing areas and hand washing facilities.
