Food sorters needed! - (For Minors Only)

 

We will be volunteering at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank sorting, inspecting, and repackaging donated food items from local supermarket chains and farmers/growers before the food goes out for distribution into the community.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

• You must be at least 14 years old to volunteer.
  
  • Please bring your paper waivers, signed by a legal parent/guardian, with you on the day of the volunteer event.
  • Underage volunteers will not be admitted without the signed paper waivers from a legal parent/guardian.
  • Waivers will be sent in the confirmation email after you register.
• No walk-ins are allowed - all volunteers must register online ahead of time.
• Arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in.
• Free parking available on-site; however, is very limited and operates on a first come first serve basis. Carpooling, being dropped off, or bussing in together is strongly recommended.
• For your safety, headphones/earbuds cannot be worn in the production/volunteer area.

DRESS CODE:

• All volunteers must wear closed toe/closed heel shoes.
• Casual and comfortable attire is recommended.
  
  • Ex: t-shirt and jeans
  • For safety reasons, please no shorts or tank tops
• Effective 3/14/2022, we will no longer be requiring volunteers to wear a mask; however, it is strongly recommended.
• Gloves will be provided on-site.
