Greetings CERTs. On June 1st, from 0900-1100, we will conduct a radio training and practical exercise at PSHQ. This class is intended for people with no radio experience, all the way up to those who have used the 800 MhZ radios before and want a refresher. We will utilize experiences from our field work as practical exercises in and around PSHQ. It is an all weather exercise so dress accordingly. Recent CERT graduates are highly encouraged to sign up as a great first step into further CERT activities. If you haven't used it in a while, (re)learn the phonetic alphabet as it will be used extensively at this exercise.
