SA Xtreme Track & Field (THURS) @ Clark HS

We're excited to have your help with our Track & Field program. Thank you for committing to what will be 8 fun-filled weeks!  You will be assisting athletes with training on the track, as well as implements in field, so be prepared to run as needed.  Track & field experience is recommended.

Where: Clark HS

 

When: THURSDAYS starting April 18, 6:00-8:00PM

 

Who: Volunteers with track and field experience will assist athletes with physical disabilities who are training for competitions.

 

Important Info:

• Our classes will begin on-time and promptness is requested.  
• We will be outside in the Texas summer heat, please bring plenty of water, and a hat/sunscreen as needed.
• Please wear athletic attire and tennis shoes. We will provide a Volunteer Shirt during the season. If you already have a volunteer shirt, please wear it.

REMINDER:

This program is for higher level athletes that will not need direct hands-on assistance. Your role may be just monitoring for safety, technique or assisting with equipment.

 

Our Program Directors & Coaches are here to help you help the child you are working with to do and be their very best. Please ask for assistance if you are ever unsure of something.
