Description:

Volunteer with GrowNYC’s Greenmarkets and help support local farmers by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring they have opportunities to sell fresh produce. In addition, this is a great way to do your part in helping all NYC residents have access to fresh and local produce! 

 

Volunteers will have the following task:

  • Provide customer service, answer general questions about GrowNYC & Greenmarket
  • Conduct customer counts 
  • Help to maintain a safe flow of foot traffic, inform bikers to dismount and walk with bike
  • Hand out flyers
  • Artsy? Help us design an A-frames graphic for the day!

Requirements:

Volunteers must be 18 years or older, have previously attended the GrowNYC Volunteer Orientation, and signed our waiver.
