Opportunity Name:
Bocce - Ashland - Ashland High School - 2024

Description:

Join us for a fun day of Bocce! This is one of three regional Bocce competitions across the state.  Bocce is of Italian origin and very similar to lawn bowling.  It's a fun outdoor sport that requires skill and strategy.  Volunteers serve as officials and scorekeepers. No experience is necessary; you will be trained at the start of your shift.

  • Officials: Enforce gameplay rules, perform mechanical measurements of ball distance from pallina, award points for plays.
  • Scorekeepers: Keep score for Bocce tournaments.

Due to the nature of sports, times of volunteer shifts could change slightly closer to the competition. You'll receive volunteer shift email reminders the days leading up to the event with your finalized shift time. Your flexibility is appreciated!

You must be 16 years or older to volunteer independently. Children 12 – 15 years old must volunteer with an adult. Thank you for your understanding!
