| Description:
Healthy Athletes is designed to help Special Olympic athletes improve their health and fitness, leading to enhanced sports experiences and improved well-being.
Trained health care professionals coordinate the services. General volunteers assist with check in/out of athletes, escorting athletes through screenings and educating athletes on various health topics (ie- hydration, sun safety, etc). No experience is necessary. You will be trained by a key volunteer at the start of your shift.
