Swimming, Utah Tech University

Join us at the beautiful Human Performance Center at Utah Tech University.  Swimming is an exciting and fast moving event with individual athletes vying for their personal best.  Volunteers will assist the Director in various capacities to facilitate a smooth-flowing event.  Requirements may include walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and sitting.  There are three categories of needs.  Please choose the one that interests you.  You may sign up for more than one shift.  There is limited parking so we recommend that you leave time to walk from parking lots to venue.  You could park in Volunteer parking at the Dixie Center and schedule a ride with the shuttle service at the Information Desk.

• Stopwatch Timers.  Volunteers will time individual swimming events.
• Medals/Ribbons.  Volunteers will present medals to winners. 
• Refreshments.  Volunteer will monitor a table providing fresh fruit and snacks for swimmers stocking bins and water
• Results/Announcer.  This volunteer will collect, post, and deliver results as well as announce heats.
• Lap Counter.  Volunteers will count laps for the 1500 meter heat.
