Opportunity Details | Stamp Out Hunger Day - Vassar St. Post Office

The National Association of Letter Carriers is hosting their annual Stamp Out Hunger Day food drive, which helps benefit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. As soon as the postal trucks come in from their daily routes, volunteers will assist with unloading collected food and will put the donated items in Food Bank bins and totes. Volunteers may also assist with moving around bins, managing excess trash, and etc. There may be some down time initially, but we will expect a steady stream of postal trucks to start arriving at the various post office locations as their daily shifts come to an end. This fun and fast-paced event is one of the largest annual food drives that the Food Bank participates in, and we are so grateful for the dedicated postal drivers and volunteers who lend a hand!
