Hospitality Volunteers greet and check-in volunteers, ensuring volunteers are prepared and engaged for their assignment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Arrive in advance of volunteers. Check-in with partner staff and assist with set-up as appropriate.
• Greet volunteers as they arrive.
• Oversee and assist volunteers as needed with attendance sign-in.
• Prepare and distribute nametags
• Using Talking Points, share Foodbank history and information to new volunteers. If possible, have partner nonprofit also share about their agency.
• Take group photo of volunteers.
• May stay and assist with food distribution as desired.
• Provide ideas and suggestions to Volunteer Manager to improve processes and procedures.
