Opportunity Name:
Beebe Springs Spring Work party

Description:

Help to clear trails and viewpoints at Beebe Springs Wildlife Area. Help prune and clear vegetation along trails, viewpoints, and artwork, clear and stabilize rock steps, and remove weeds at the Beebe Springs Unit, Chelan Wildlife Area.

Volunteers are welcome to bring their own tools: loppers, clippers, work gloves, etc (but keep track of your own tools). I also recommend bringing water and a snack.

Be aware there is blackberry, and work pants and gloves are advised. There will be multiple projects, and hopefully we can find something for everyone to do within their comfort level.

WDFW has new rules regarding working around water, and all participants who will be working within a body's length of water will be required to wear a lifejacket. Volunteer orientation and PFD training will occur at 9. I encourage you to take both these trainings through this portal beforehand.
