Lorain High School Pantry Program

Description:

Lorain City Schools has partnered with Second Harvest to create pathways to nutritious food for our community members. Volunteers will assist with registration, stocking tables, loading trunks, and directing traffic.

 
Set-up/Assignments: 3:00pm-4:00pm
Pantry: 4:00 pm-5:30 pm

 

Volunteers at School Pantries are required to be high school students or older to participate.

 

School Group Youth Leaders:

  1. We recommend that there are no more than 10 minor student volunteers at a pantry.
  2. The group of students must have a group leader onsite  (Ex: Key Club Students must have Key Club Advisor with them) to provide direction to the students and to enforce safety.
  3. Please forward the reservation code to the group leader (Ex: Key Club Advisor, Coach, French Club Faculty Leader). They can then forward the code onto their students to preregister.
  4. If you have a volunteer who would like to bring their high school student child with them, please keep in mind that an adult volunteer must stay with their child.  
  5. All student volunteers and group leaders must pre-register before the event.
