Make a Difference. Be a Volunteer. Special Olympics Athletes from the Fox Valley and Green Bay areas will be competing at this District Track and Field Meet for a chance to compete at the State Celebration Games in July. Volunteers are needed to help make this event successful. Please contact Megan at mquandt@SpecialOlympicsWisconsin.org with questions.

Volunteer Positions:

Long Jump- Assist with measuring jumps for competitions

Softball Throw/ Mini Jav- Assist with measuring throws for competitions

Shot Put- Assist with measuring throws for competitions

Track Timers- Time an athlete during each race

Awards: Prepare and present ribbons to athletes

Athlete Escorts: Escort athletes to track events

Athlete Staging- Assist in prepping athletes in the correct lane assignments for races.

Results Runner- Take results from track finish line over to awards table

Training will be provided on the day of the event at the beginning of volunteer shift.
