Help provide essential food assistance to students and families through Share's Backpack Program!
The Backpack Program provides food-filled bags, high-school pantry boxes, and fresh food pantries for children that are in need of food assistance. Volunteers work with staff to assemble and deliver approximately 1,200 bags of food to 95 Clark County Schools. We also partner with the Clark County Food Bank to provide food at 16 Fresh Food Pantries in school Family Community Resource Centers through Evergreen and Vancouver Public School. Through these initiatives, food assistance is provided to about 2,000 kids per week.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours a week, one time or on-going.
