Description:
Wake County Senior Games is an Olympic-style event designed to create year-round health promotion and competition for participants that are 50+ years old. The WCSG is hosted by various local businesses and municipalities, and rely heavily on volunteers to help us make these games a success. This event will include a bowling competition.
Duties and Impact: By volunteering for this event, you are helping to provide a platform for active adults to showcase their talents. As volunteers you would assist with several different jobs associated with this event and will be assigned upon your arrival. This may include:
Work Environment: Volunteers will be working indoors. Volunteers will be on their feet a majority of the time, standing, walking and bending over. There will be a restroom on site.
