Opportunity Name:
National Donut Day World Donut Eating Competition

Description:

Exciting news for DC! This year, we have the honor of hosting the National Donut Day World Donut Eating Competition. To ensure the success of this event, we are seeking volunteers for 2 shifts. Volunteers will play a crucial role in event setup, maintenance, and takedown. Responsibilities include arranging the stage and tables, greeting guests, assisting professional eaters during the competition, providing event support, and post-event cleanup.

Activities:

  • Volunteers available from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM will assist with event setup (including tables, chairs, and stage).
  • Volunteers available from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM will assist in welcoming guests, assisting professional eaters as required, and participating in cleanup and takedown.

*While not mandatory, some volunteers may be required to lift 25 lbs or more to assist with supply movement.

Dress Code:

For your comfort, please wear casual, comfortable shoes, and dress in lightweight, sunscreen-appropriate attire, as this is an outdoor event.

As a token of appreciation, volunteers will receive a commemorative volunteer shirt.

If volunteering as part of a group, each volunteer MUST register separately to acknowledge the liability agreement. Please do not use the group registration feature. Instead, indicate what group you are volunteering with in the "note" option of the registration process.

By registering for this event, I agree to this liability release herein:
