*This is for Registration station volunteers at the 2024 State Fair Fishin' Pond.
Help parents register their little anglers for this fun opportunity. Using an iPad you will sign families up and let them know what to expect and where to go next.
As a DNR volunteer for this event you will receive an orientation to your role and to the fishing pond, map and ticket for fair entry the day of your shift, volunteer t-shirt, and volunteer service agreement and background check.
We ask that you come prepared with sun protection (sunscreen and sunglasses), water, snacks, comfortable footwear, and rain gear if the forecast calls for it.
Staff will provide more details and instructions for the day prior to your shift.
