*This is registration for State Fair Fishin Pond Guide Volunteers.
State Fair Fishin' Pond GUIDES help make this event fun and successful for families. Guides show visitors where to register, inform them of "rules of the Pond," show them where to line up, help them find an open fishing station, help manage a one-way flow around the Pond, and hand out information such as Fishing Guides.
As a DNR volunteer for this event you will receive an orientation to your role and to the fishing pond, map and ticket for fair entry the day of your shift, volunteer t-shirt, and volunteer service agreement and background check.
We ask that you come prepared with sun protection (sunscreen and sunglasses), water, snacks, comfortable footwear, and rain gear if the the forecast calls for it.
