Saturday Night Chase Driver-SNELLVILLE GA

Volunteer Chase Driver Highlights:

• ONLY AVAILABLE IN SNELLVILLE
• You will need gas! 3/4 of a tank of gas minimum
• You will meet directly with your driving partner (Brian Okoye).
• Use the mobile sign in feature or text (404) 590-2303 to sign in with the dispatcher.
• You must confirm via text message when clock in and out for your shift with the dispatcher. Failure to do so may result in not receiving credit for any hours completed. 
• Please arrive 5-10 minutes early prior to the start of your shift. If you arrive later than 15 minutes after the start of your shift you may not be allowed to sign in. 
• Brian can sign any paperwork you have to be signed.
• You are required to place a SafeRide cartopper on your vehicle if possible. The cartoppers are guaranteed 100% safe for your car and will make your volunteer role much easier.
• You will transport Brian in your vehicle to each reservation and follow the driver as he drops off each customer. 
• You will not have any customers in your vehicle. Your only passenger will be a SafeRide professional driver.
• When not busy, you will post up in the Buckhead area.
• At the end of the shift, you will return to Snellville and drop Brian off. 
• You are required to stay until the end of the shift. 
• Please dress appropriately in business casual attire. NO Flip flop shoes, no tee shirts or tank tops, no spandex.
• You are responsible for your own gas. Please arrive with at least 3/4 of a tank.
• Be prepared to drive! Our service area covers the metro Atlanta area including Kennesaw, Marietta, Norcross, Alpharetta, Lawrenceville, Acworth etc...
• Eat before your shift! You may not be able to get food. Sometimes we have a slow period which would allow time to get some quick food.
• When you are finished, to get a completion letter on SafeRide America letterhead CLICK HERE to fill out the completion letter request form.

**If you are on a Wait List, you do not come in to our office unless we contact you via email or phone asking you to come in. You will be automatically placed on the schedule should the time you have requested become available. Our volunteer portal will automatically assign you to any openings and send you a confirmation email informing you that you have been scheduled to appear.  Please check your email frequently on days that you have signed up to be on a Wait List.  

 

Commitment:

• If for any reason you need to cancel your shift, please do so by canceling on line via your volunteer profile or by contacting the volunteer coordinator at 404-888-0887 or at volunteer@saferideamerica.org at least 24 hours before the start of your shift. If you cancel your shift with less than 6 hours notice you will receive a "no show" on your volunteer account which could result in your removal from our volunteer program.
