Description:
Join us for a World Refugee Day celebration where we recognize, honor, and educate others about the experiences of those who have been forced to flee their homes. The event features local vendors, food trucks, field games for all ages, and live performances from community groups showcasing the diversity of Raleigh.
Duties and Impact: Volunteers can help with general event logistics such as set up and break down. Volunteers are also needed to assist with activities throughout the event. These may include helping with: Crafts, yard games, the bouncy slide, or greeting visitors.
Work Environment: We will be working outside in the elements. There is the possibility for uneven ground. There will be a restroom on site. It may be loud as there will be various performances and speakers at the event.
