Description: Mayor Dyer’s Beautify Fresno initiative will host its next Neighborhood Blitz cleanup event of 2024 in the area around Leavenworth Elementary School in Council District 7 on Saturday, May 11 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. We will be focusing on the area bordered by Hwy 180, Cedar, Belmont, and Maple. Volunteers are asked to meet at Leavenworth Elementary School beginning at 8:45 a.m., to check in and receive instructions. All volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver form prior to participating in this event. To speed up the check-in process, we encourage you to sign the release waiver electronically prior to the event by visiting https://appdev.fresno.gov/beautify/Blitz. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them. Beautify Fresno will provide trash bags, paper pickers, vests, and gloves.
