| Description:
The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is recruiting volunteers to help with the preparation and packing of hot meals inside of our new and improved kitchen at our Coit Road Partner Distribution Hub! We're recruiting fifteen volunteers each shift to work alongside our staff with mixing, stirring, and packing up a variety of food. Afternoon shifts will assist with production wrap up in both Kids Café and Hot Meal Prep and daily cleaning and sanitation duties.
We’re excited to share this space with our volunteers! Please note that there are some significant differences from our old kitchen, including several temperature controlled, 50 degree rooms that volunteers will regularly be working in. We strongly recommend bringing a sweatshirt or light jacket that volunteers can wear if needed to stay comfortable.
Additional Notes: - Volunteers will not be permitted to wear jewelry or nail polish while working inside of the kitchen.
- Volunteers will be required to wear disposable gowns, hair nets, and masks at all times while working inside of the kitchen. All of these materials will be provided by the Food Bank.
