Description:

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is recruiting volunteers to support our sustainability efforts! Each week, volunteers will support our team's efforts to reduce food waste by helping to unpackage produce and other food items and prepare it for pick-up by Rid All, a local composting partner.

  • Volunteers will be working in a refrigerated environment - We recommend bringing your own jacket and gloves to use as needed!
  • We also recommend wearing clothing that you won't mind getting a bit dirty!

Volunteers must be 14 or older in order to participate.

Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe/heel footwear for all of our projects (NO CROCS, SANDALS, FLIP-FLOPS, ETC). 

 

For all of our shifts, please come prepared to assist with any duty. Thank you for your flexibility!
