Join us to serve the community in a BIG way-through kindness and a meal. Assist us with food prep and serving of the meal at our Men's Center, please see a few reminders below!

  • Reminders:
    • Check-in and arrival time is NO LATER than 11:00am, check-in needs to be done in the kitchen, please ask for the volunteer clip board.
    • Wear your favorite hat in lieu of a hairnet.
    • Parking is any available street parking, please all valuables in your vehicles. 
    • To CANCEL your scheduled meal time, please notify us as soon as possible by emailing  arice@shelterkc.org AND rotte@shelterkc.org.
    • We understand things happen, please notify us of CANCELATION as soon as possible, this allows us to prepare staff to make arrangements.
