Awards Volunteers: This position will be working as part of a team to set up awards, announce awards, and award athletes their ribbons or medals.  These individuals will take results that come in and fill out the award label for the correct athlete and then put in on the appropriate ribbon or medal.  Then they will set up awards by division to be handed out to athletes.  Some members of this team will be responsible for announcing the awards by announcing the athletes name and place while other members of the team award the ribbons or medals to the athlete.

Bocce Pitch Assistant: This position will either be officiating the bocce game or managing the score for that game.  If you are officiating, you will be responsible for managing the game play, indicating which player should go next, measuring the bocce ball distances to determine the winner of a frame, and assigning points.  All officials will be trained in game play and rules.  If you are responsible for scoring, you will be adjusting the score board to reflect points as well as recording the final score for each game on your court.  In addition you will keep track of the time and notify your official when time has expired for that game.  Each scorer will also be trained in game play and the rules.  These individuals will be assigned to a specific court for the duration of their shift.  There will be court supervisors available for questions, concerns, or problems as well as helping to manage each court and make sure games progress appropriately.

Event Setup:  Assist Special Olympics staff & event management team by helping setup the bocce tournament. Task include setting up bocce courts, chairs, tables and banners.
