Construction - FUTURE HOMEOWNERS ONLY

Our mission is to put God's love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. On a Habitat for Humanity construction site, the potential tasks and jobs that you will help with may include the following:

 

framing, roof decking/felting, siding/exterior & interior trim work, exterior & interior painting/paint prep, landscaping, window & door installation, cabinet & home appliance installation, flooring (primarily vinyl plank & tile), drywall patching, and cleaning

 

Please be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing. Those with hair that could obstruct vision, or get snagged, please use hair clips or hair ties to prevent those occurrences. Please hydrate the night before and morning before serving to prevent any heat-related issues. 

**Please note that if you are more than 15 minutes late and miss the safety training for the shift, you won't be allowed to volunteer for that shift. Our onsite construction manager will make the decision. 

**Additionally, f we have weather issues or delays in construction, we still have opportunities to build components in our warehouse. We'll text you the morning of your shift if anything needs to change.**
