Education Volunteer Training: East River Park (Manhattan)

Event Description:

Volunteer training sessions are for brand new volunteers who would like to get involved with our education program. Come to a one-hour training session to learn everything you need to know about becoming a Bike New York volunteer, and how to teach others to ride with our signature "Balance First" method. The training will precede a two-hour Learn to Ride - Adults class at which you will volunteer from 11am-1pm.

After this class you will be prepared to volunteer at our Learn to Ride, Practice Session, and Bike Handling Skills classes.

No need to bring a bike, equipment, or tools. Bike New York will supply you with everything you need to become a bike instructing pro! Just beware, you'll get a little grease on your hands so don't wear anything too fancy.

All are welcome to these trainings so feel free to bring a family member, friend, or colleague!
