2019 Water Stop - Bronx (Bronx)

Event Description:

The Event

The 2019 TD Five Boro Bike Tour is one of the largest cycling events. More than 32,000 cyclists will ride 40 miles through all five boroughs of New York City.

What You’ll Be Doing

Water Stop Volunteers assist with the setup, operation of, and breakdown of the designated stop along the route. Tasks include; setting up tables, filling up water coolers, placing snacks on tables, and picking up trash and recyclables.

What To Know

  • Volunteers should have good customer service skills, as you will be interacting with the public.
  • Some age restrictions apply. Contact us if you are younger than 18 years old.
  • This position is located outdoors, rain or shine.
  • Training provided on event day.
  • A confirmation email for each shift you sign up for will be sent the week prior to the Event.

The Perks

Volunteers receive breakfast and/or lunch during their shift, and a commemorative T-Shirt. As a thank you for being an integral part of our Tour weekend, all volunteers will be able to register early for the 2020 TD Five Boro Bike Tour, and 50% off the registration fee for one of our 2019 regional rides (the Discover Hudson Valley or Twin Lights Ride).
