2024 Unified Schools State Soccer - Blaine

Special Olympics Minnesota's Regional Metro UCS Unified Soccer event is being held on May 23 and we are looking for volunteers to help make the day happen! 

 

No soccer experience? No problem! A detailed training is given at the beginning of each shift. You're welcome to sign up for any of the following roles:

• Check In/General Event Support:
  
  • Welcome students to the event & support any roles/needs throughout the day. 
  • Volunteers will also fill in other spots or jump in to help where needed. They may have a shorter shift than scheduled.
  • This is a great role for someone who is flexible and a self starter!
  •  
• Score table Assistant:
  
  • Run scoreboards for games, no experience required!
  • Help keep matches running on time, no experience required!

Volunteer Expectations….

• Volunteers must be 15 years or older to volunteer on their own.  
  
  • 12-14 year old volunteers are welcome when volunteering with chaperone/parent/guardian 18+.
  • Interested volunteers who are under 12 are welcomed to cheer on athletes as fans in the stands with chaperone/parent/guardian 18+.     
• You may sign up for one or more shifts.
• Parking/Transportation
  
  • Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your shift time to check in. 
  • Parking is available on site.
