Load Out to Storage

Event Description:

Load Out to Storage

Volunteers on Sunday evening (after the festival closes) will assist festival Operations and staff in loading merchandise inventory, frozen drink machines, collapsable chairs, plastic totes, and other heavy equipment from the festival site onto a Uhaul. Items being loaded onto the Uhaul will already be staged by committee members near the truck. Volunteers will then travel to the festival's storage unit on W. 5th Avenue in Grandview (~10 minute travel) and assist in unloading items from the Uhaul into the storage unit with placement guidance from staff and Operations. This shift requires the ability to lift between 10 and 50 pounds; dollies and ladders are provided.

Volunteering at the Columbus Arts Festival

Columbus Arts Festival volunteers represent our beautiful city to a talented group of visual artists, performers and poets, and to more than 400,000 festival patrons.  As a volunteer with the Festival you will be the face of our city to these visitors.  Your commitment helps spread the vibrancy of the arts, supports our community and raises the level of cultural awareness in Central Ohio.

Note – Working and volunteering as a group or with friends helps many people have a more positive volunteer experience. Thus, we encourage associations or other groups to volunteer as a team in various areas.
