Full Circle Gardens - Thursday Early Afternoon

Volunteers with our Full Circle Garden program help with all aspects of gardening for hunger relief including, prepping, planting and maintaining garden beds, harvesting produce, composting and more. Volunteers also assist with gleaning excess produce from local farms and gardens to give to our partner agencies.

 

VOLUNTEER AGES

All ages are welcome at the garden, with supervision necessary for youth under 16.  Due to the seasonal nature of our work and ever-changing weather conditions, we need to know ahead of time what ages to expect for each session. Sometimes, the work we have available may not be age-appropriate, or we may not be able to safely host young children due to weather conditions. Please reach out to let us know if you are scheduling a youth volunteer so that we can discuss the volunteer opportunity.

ALL volunteers need to be registered within CERVIS, regardless of age. Please go to https://ozarksfoodharvest.org/how-to-help/volunteer/ to register your child.

 

WEATHER

Please be mindful of weather conditions on your scheduled volunteer day and dress appropriately. If severe weather is forecasted, please check your email for a cancellation notice. We try to email volunteers as far in advance as possible.
